 An Essay on Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People” Dale Carnegie’s book entitled How to Win Friends and Influence People explores various ways on how to communicate efficiently and professionally. Each chapter speaks about different scenarios encountered by the author as well as helpful guidelines on how to handle them. In this book, Carnegie focuses on the significance of having good communication skills.

The truth is cliché that money can buy happiness is that happiness is not easy. Money does not offer short cuts around this fact. It is important to appreciate the danger of how money can’t buy happiness, however. On one level it is simply bad advice, which is counterproductive to individual’s happiness.

Professional poker players, like Johnny Moss, make all their money from playing cards. Gambling, if done right, can be easy pickings for people. “Gambling is a calculated technique for making money” (Thompson 27). Basically this is saying that if people are not stupid with their money that they will win.

On the other hand, Money has a strong buy-in and buy-out impact in that it elevates the level of personal satisfaction notwithstanding the longer term fading effect. Money losses its value with time and so does the money based motivation techniques.

Hard work vs. Easy money in Film making industry Film makers have an important role and a great responsibility when creating or producing films. Although the film industry is not in business just to lose money, it should not be that its goal is to only gain money.

Gambling is a significant issue in this book, showing from how it can be addictive to how it almost possesses a person. Aunt Beryl had a gambling problem she had a win at the poker machines. and played almost everyday, and how beryl steels from Carl to get the money to gamble with, leaving Carl with no money for himself or Harley.
